Nina Parker

Nina M. Parker can make a difference. With over 40 years of experience, she provides caring, compassionate legal services for complex financial restructuring needs of small businesses and individuals with insolvency issues.

Ms. Parker is named one of the top 50 women attorneys in Massachusetts and has been named one of the top 100 lawyers in Massachusetts for the years 2012 through 2022 as well as top 100 lawyers in New England. Parker has been continuously selected for inclusion as a Massachusetts Super Lawyers and New England Super Lawyers since 2007. She has been included in editions of The Best Lawyers in America® in the practice area of Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights /Insolvency and Reorganization Law and Litigation – Bankruptcy and in 2015 was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy Class 27.

Ms. Parker concentrates in the areas of consumer and corporate bankruptcies, specializing in small business and individual Chapter 11 reorganizations and consulting on all areas of insolvency law with emphasis on small and family business restructuring. Parker’s clients range from sole proprietorships and “mom and pop” business operations to large scale companies from all industries in need of assistance with resolving financial distress which are resolved either through negotiations or through bankruptcy proceedings including chapter 11 cases.

Parker works with clients to resolve issues surrounding financial obligations and represents individuals and family owned and closely held businesses to reorganize in order to save their homes and businesses. Parker is a highly experienced bankruptcy practitioner and has an extensive debtors’ practice. Ms. Parker has worked tirelessly over the years to provide individualized solutions to problems arising as a result of financial distress. Her philosophy is that all people are entitled to caring and compassionate representation.

Ms. Parker was the recipient of the 2015 Pro Bono Publico Award, United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Massachusetts, Eastern Division and in 2019, was honored by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a Top Woman of Law for her accomplishments in the legal field which include pro bono, social justice, advocacy and business.
