Chapter 11 and business restructuring
Chapter 11 allows a business to keep operating while it restructures its debts under court supervision. The firm represents businesses in reorganizations, workouts, sales and liquidations.
Chapter 11 is not always the answer.
A negotiated workout with creditors, or relief under another chapter of the Bankruptcy Code, is sometimes the better course. We review the business’s finances and creditor positions before recommending a filing. The first meeting is free.

Subchapter V
Small businesses may qualify for Subchapter V, a streamlined form of Chapter 11. Cases generally move faster and cost less than a traditional Chapter 11, there is usually no creditors’ committee, and owners can often keep their ownership of the business. We will tell you at the first meeting whether your business qualifies.
